Featured Project: The Shore Club
The Shore Club, located on Long Bay Bay Beach on the Turks And Caicos Islands, is one of Providenciales’ newest resorts. The destination produced by The Hartling Group occupies 820 feet of prime beachfront and 12 acres of land. The hotspot for traveling, memorable events and getaways is home to elegant suites, villas and penthouses. This resort has been named one of the top destinations to visit from many sources including Forbes, the Caribbean Journal and USA Today. The Shore Club describes itself as being, “Defined by a spirit of relaxed luxury, refreshing adventure, healthy indulgence, and exclusive accessibility, it’s a place where you can do exactly what you desire: a place to write your own story.”
As The Shore Club wrote its own story there were a vast number of decisions to be made. The golf club, the conch farm and everything in between presented their own set of design and style opportunities. The villas are The Shore Club’s private oceanfront living areas. Each villa is 8,800 sq ft and has amenities including a private butler, heated whirpool, sauna and many more. When deciding how to create a unique, extravagant atmosphere, the views of the beach were a high priority. Stan Hartling explains that the resort will, “permit every owner to enjoy unprecedented and open view of the magnificent turquoise waters that make Turks & Caicos one of the most preferred addresses in the Caribbean.” Euro-Wall’s folding doors were a perfect fit for The Shore Club. They provide the much sought after uninterrupted views of Long Bay Beach and give the flexibility of connecting your indoor and outdoor spaces. The resort is located in the coral islands in the Atlantic Ocean, southeast of the Bahamas, an area that is prone to major weather events. Euro-Wall impact rated panels are approved for the Miami-Dade HVHZ area, which has the most stringent building code requirements anywhere in the United Sates. These panels offered the maximum amount of security for The Shore Club.
